Server Rules

Please read and follow these rules.

1. General Conduct (The "Don't Be a Jerk" Rules)

  • Respect Everyone: Harassment, hate speech, threats of real-world violence, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
  • No Spamming: Do not spam global chat with advertisements, links, or repetitive messages.
  • No In-Game Name Toxicity: Please use appropriate player names. Offensive, hateful, or impersonating names (e.g., impersonating an admin) are not allowed.
  • Don't Be "That Guy": While trash talk is part of the game, constant toxicity or malicious behavior aimed at ruining others' experiences (outside of legitimate gameplay) is subject to moderation.

2. Fair Play & Integrity (The "No Cheating" Rules)

  • Zero-Tolerance for Hacks/Scripts: The use of third-party software, cheats, scripts (including recoil scripts), or macros to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This will result in a global ban.
  • No Bug/Glitch Exploiting: Exploiting game-breaking bugs or glitches (e.g., clipping through walls, abusing map geometry) is forbidden. If you find a bug, report it to an admin rather than abusing it.
  • No Stream Sniping: Intentionally hunting or harassing content creators streaming on the server is prohibited.
  • No Admin Impersonation: Do not pretend to be staff to intimidate other players.

3. Gameplay & Limits (The "Server Balance" Rules)

  • Max Group Size: Our server has a strict [Insert Size, e.g., Quad/4-player] limit. This includes your roaming group, your base inhabitants, and anyone you are actively raiding or defending with.
  • No Teaming: Alliances between groups exceeding the max group size are not permitted.
  • Base Griefing Policy: While raiding is allowed, excessive "base griefing" (e.g., sealing players in their own airlocks and refusing to finish the raid) may be moderated at the admin's discretion if it is deemed purely malicious and not for loot.
  • No Door Camping: Please note that while "door camping" is technically allowed, excessive camping of a single player for hours at a time can be considered harassment.

4. Support & Reporting

  • Use the Proper Channels: Do not report cheaters in global chat. Use the /report command in-game or open a ticket in our official Discord.
  • Provide Evidence: When reporting suspected cheaters, video clips (POV or kill cam) are highly encouraged. We cannot always rely on combat logs alone.
  • Staff Authority: Staff decisions are final. If you have an issue with a decision, contact the Server Owner privately in Discord. Do not argue in public channels.
